Speech Title: Reconfigurable Channel Decoder Designs for Mobile Consumer Communications
Biography: Cheng-Hung (Dixson) Lin received the Ph.D. degree from National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan, in 2009. In August 2010, he joined the faculty of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Yuan Ze University (YZU), Jungli, Taiwan, where he is currently a Professor. His research interests include very large-scale integrated systems for forward error correction codes, artificial intelligence in medical image processing, and digital signal processing. He received the Young Scholar Research Award from YZU in 2019, the Excellence Award in Guidance and Service from YZU in 2021, the Outstanding Research Award from the College of Electrical and Communication Engineering, YZU in 2022, and the Special Contribution in Research Award from the same college in 2023. From August 2019 to July 2022, he served as the Deputy Director of the Biomedical Engineering Research Center at Yuan Ze University. He currently serves as Vice Chair of the Technical Committee Board, IEEE Consumer Technology Society. Thank you very much for your assistance.
Prof. Kiyoshi Ueda

Title: Application of Networking to Object Transport:UAV Navigation Route Control Using Wireless Multi-hop Network
Biography: Kiyoshi Ueda received the B.E. and M.E. degrees in electrical engineering from Keio University, Yokohama, Japan, in 1987 and 1989 respectively. He received the Ph.D. degree in information science and electrical engineering from Kyushu University in 2010. Since he joined Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (now NTT, Inc.) Network Service Systems Laboratories in 1989, he was engaged in the research and development of digital switching software, especially in designing the distributed switching node management software. He was an active member of ITU-T SG11 and SG4, where he contributed to the TMN. He was also responsible for research and development of peer-to-peer network service software. He is presently a professor at College of Engineering, Nihon University from 2014. He received the Best Paper Award of IEICE communication society in 2008, IEICE ComEX Top Downloaded Letter Award in 2022, IEEE ICCE Best Regional Paper Award in 2024, IEEE ICCCT Best Presentation Award in 2024.
